Movies are still a great past time..

It was not that long ago when we use to sit in our car, swatting bugs, windscreen wipers on to clear the screen and watch some of those old favourite movies.

The old drive in movies.

Those were the days, if you did not want to watch you could soon find other things to do, but I am not going to talk about that here plus it use to fog up the windscreen and you couldn't see anything at all.

As time passed videos appeared in rather big cassettes, almost like mini brick and looked about the same. Full of promises but very easily worn out
Then we had the CD, a marvellous invention that miniaturised everything. It was incomprehensible, that a movie could fit on THAT, you must be joking.

And ofcourse it improved even more from there. But as in each and every case, you had to get in your car, drive down to the local video store and hope that they would stock something you like or in some cases put up with anything just to watch it. Downright annoying.

This day and age we have that miracle called the Net, all and sundry is available. It's just a matter of checking it out.

Watching movies has become a lot easier. Now it just a matter of linking up to some site that offers that particular service and bingo, off you go. The download speeds have improved remarkably and there are quite a few sites offering those services. I have tried a few in the past and found some good and some not so good. I did try this one here and it wasn't bad. Good download speed, plenty of choice and it made life just that little more enjoyable when you don't have to get out into that weather to watch the latest.
One of my favourites was the James Bond latest and ofcourse cannot deny that SAHARA flick, not bad either.
Ahh !! the joys of the movies. I don't think it will ever loose it appeal.
